Shelters for homeless men, women, children, and families in Marin County:
Mill Street Center
190 Mill Street, San Rafael
Type of shelter: 55 beds, year round night-to-night stays, must leave during daytime hours.
How to access: Individuals already admitted must call daily after 10:30 am to reserve a bed; can also call again at 6:10 to see if there are any no-shows.
New callers must call at 8:00 am.
Fees: Contribution $3.00 per night or $7.00 per night if approved for a week stay.
