The following graphs represent statistical and demographic information on adult criminal cases received by the District Attorney's Office.

Some cases received may not be filed until the following calendar year. Similarly, cases filed includes some cases received the prior year. These data sets are not created to account for that. 

Data represents January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025.

Referred and Filed Crime Type Other

Misdemeanor Cases "Other"

339 distinct offense codes were referred in Misdemeanor cases specified as Referral Type Other. Across all defendants, these 339 offense codes were referred 3,618 times as Misdemeanors. The 10 most referred Misdemeanor offense sections in case type other make up 51.63% of the total Misdemeanor cases referred. (Multiple counts of the same offense section were not counted.) The top 10 Offense sections are shown below, with how many times they were reffered as referral type Other in 2025. 

233 distinct offense codes were filed in Misdemeanor cases specified as Filed Type Other. Across all defendants, these 233 offense codes were filed 2,074 times as Misdemeanors. The 10 most filed Misdemeanor offense sections in case type other make up 53.42% of the total Misdemeanor cases filed. (Multiple counts of the same offense section were not counted.) The top 10 Offense sections are shown below, with how many times they were filed as Other in 2025. 

Felony Cases "Other"

367 distinct offense codes were referred in Felony cases specified as Referral Type Other. Across all defendants, these 367 offense codes were referred 2075 times as Felonies. The 10 most referred Felony offense sections in case type other make up 31.52% of the total Felony cases referred. (Multiple counts of the same offense section were not counted.) The top 10 Offense sections are shown below, with how many times they were reffered as referral type Other in 2025. 

151 distinct offense codes were filed in Felony cases specified as Filed Type Other. Across all defendants, these 151 offense codes were filed 624 times as Felonies. The 10 most filed Felony offense sections in case type other make up 40.87% of the total Felony cases filed. (Multiple counts of the same offense section were not counted.)
